Hope Lives
The silence did not last forever.
Morning came.
The stone moved.
The tomb was empty.
Christ rose.
Jesus is called the Firstfruits (1 Corinthians 15:20), meaning His resurrection is the promise that more is coming.
Hope is alive.
Mercy is alive.
Christ is alive.
And because He lives, despair does not get the final word.

Risen Lord, awaken resurrection hope in every weary place within me. Amen.
